Dr. Antonis Antoniou, a distinguished Greek plastic surgeon, was born in Thessaloniki in 1971. From a young age, he was distinguished by his passion for medical science, which led him to be admitted to the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1990. His academic excellence was confirmed in 2003, when he was awarded a Doctorate from the same University, focusing on innovative approaches in the field of medicine.
His career in Plastic Surgery began dynamically, completing his specialization in 2006 at the “Gennimatas” and “Papageorgiou” hospitals in Thessaloniki. In addition to his Specialty title, he also obtained the highly prestigious European Specialty Title (FEBOPRAS), establishing him as one of the leaders in his field.
Today, Dr. Antoniou holds the position of Director of the National Health Insurance at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of "Papageorgiou" Hospital, where he works with dedication and zeal. His active presence at international and domestic scientific conferences, combined with his passion for the education of new Plastic Surgeons, make him a role model for the next generation of doctors.
